The future of the TCG Shop at ERUPT
Our planning for Season 6 is currently in full swing, and we want to keep you informed early about what to expect.
A key component of the upcoming season is the redesign of the TCG Shop. It's especially important to us to set the right expectations from the start: Our focus is clearly on high-quality events and the best possible player experience. Trading card games have always been an integral part of our vision and will continue to be so.
Renovation of the TCG Shop
To achieve this goal, we will realign the use of our space:
- More space for tournaments, casual games, community meetings and trades
- An overall more open and organized environment
At the same time, we will limit our product range to the essentials:
- Focus on relevant products
- Continuing to offer products that meet the most important needs
- Reduced retail and display space to create more room for playing
- It is important to us that we keep prices fair
More space for what really matters
Which TCGs will we offer?
Our focus will be on the following TCGs:
- Magic: the Gathering
- One Piece
- Riftbound
- Lorcana
- Pokémon
Furthermore, we want to consider the following TCGs, but not as a priority for now:
- Gundam
- Flesh & Blood
- Yu-Gi-Oh!
- Sorcery
Of course, we plan to expand and optimize our offerings in the future and are also open to new TCGs to meet the needs of the community as broadly as possible. However, since we are relatively new to this area, we need to continuously increase our inventory.
Structural Changes
For our concept to work, some structural modifications are necessary. We will open up the previously separated space and remove the partition wall between the bar area and the shop. The bar counter will also be extended. This will create a continuous, more open playing area, making events and the overall gaming experience significantly more enjoyable.
